Doug Dean
BelayUSA Director of Training

Doug Dean is the Director of Training and head fierarms instructor for the BelayUSA Corporation Training Academy and has been a Protection Specialist and Investigator for BelayUSA since 2003. 

Dean is an Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission (OPOTC) Certified Instructor for the OPOTC Basic Security Course including firearms (revolver, semi-automatic handgun and shotgun).

Center Axis Relock (CAR) and Immediate Personal Defense Systems (IPDS) Close Quarters Combat Certified Firearms Instructor.

NRA Certified Firearms Instructor.

Dean is also a certified TASER® Instructor and an unarmed defensive tactics instructor.

Security Academy Instructor: Hocking College

Dean is a multi-disciplined martial arts student and instructor with more than 35 years of experience and is an instructor at the Aikido School of Central Ohio.

He is a member of the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors (IALEFI) and the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA).
